Net Promoter Score comes from one survey question: how likely are you to recommend us, from 0 to 10. People who answer 9 or 10 are promoters, 7 or 8 are passives and 0 to 6 are detractors. NPS is the percentage of promoters minus the percentage of detractors, so it runs from -100 to +100. Enter your counts, or paste the raw scores and the calculator sorts them for you.
NPS = % promoters (scores 9-10) minus % detractors (scores 0-6). Passives (7-8) count in the total but not in either side.
Anything above 0 means more promoters than detractors. Benchmarks vary a lot by industry, so compare with your own past scores first.
With only a handful of answers the score swings a lot. Treat small samples as a rough signal.
